Here's some tips to get the most out of a plank.


  1. Instead of holding your hands together open them up and align the elbows under the shoulders.

  2. Push your elbows into the floor and reach long. (This opens up the upper and helps to keep the ribs down)

  3. Tuck your hips in, or tilt the belt buckle upwards. This helps to keep you from overarching the lower back and engages the core more.
